.Mov Video File Types Keeps Freezing When Played

I am using a Nikon D3300.

Videos play smoothly when played in the DSLR but when I transfer the videos into my laptop and try to play it, it keeps freezing and stopping.

Even when i tried to play them in different video players, it is still the same.

The video types show a .mov file type.

Why is that???

Need help!
