iPad password lost

Hi 🙂

I lost my iPad password so I browse the internet but I didn't find any solution...

I can't go to icloud.com/find to reset my iPad because it's offline.

iTunes (the last version) say me that my iPad is protected by a password so I can't restore it like that.

Finally, when I force my iPad to enter in DFU mode, I can try to restore it, but there's always writted "error 3194" before the end of the restoration...

I hope someone will find a solution 🙂

By "normal" mode I want to say no in DFU..

And I'm on windows 10, but I think I add to do something to force iTunes to don't update, but now that's fixed, iTunes is on its last version 😉

I don't think you understand what DFU mode is and the difference between it and recovery mode. There is no reason, and increased risk in using DFU (which is used for hacking only) in this situation.

Regardless, putting the phone into recovery mode bypasses the need to enter the passcode:

iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode

I still have this error with the last version of iTunes yas :/

And I also try with my iPad in restoration mode, but when iTunes "extract the iPad software" (it's writted), iTunes alert me that it can't acces to my iPad because of my passcode :/

(To enter to the restoration mode, I switch off my iPad, I plug it to my computer and press the home button while the iTunes icon isnt show on my iPad)

If it is still prompting you for the passcode, then you have not successfully gotten the device into Recovery Mode. You will have to try again. If you are still seeing the 3194 error, did you try the steps listed in the link provided earlier, including the check of your hosts file and anti-virus software? If you did and still receive the error, then you are going to have to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store, or contact Apple Support directly.
