Manually adding movies to iCloud.

Is there any legitimate way to add movies I've manually added to iTunes to the Cloud? I have movies in iTunes with the iCloud icon on them, where I can still watch them they just don't take up space on my computer. They also show up on my Apple TV so I can watch them there. What I want to do is have that same thing for some movies I haven't bought from iTunes but from somewhere else. Then I can remove the download but still have them available to stream.

Thanks,

Zac

No. iCloud does not support that. The following is from iCloud Photo Sharing FAQ - Apple Support

Which photo and video formats and sizes does iCloud Photo Sharing support?

iCloud Photo Sharing supports both MP4 and QuickTime video file types, and H.264 and MPEG-4 Video file formats. Videos can be up to 5 minutes in length and are delivered at up to 720p resolution.

Alright, well how are my movies played that I've purchased from iTunes but don't have downloaded on my hard drive? I'm guessing they are just played through iTunes' library somehow? I want to be able to play movies on iTunes I haven't purchased from iTunes in the same manner, I want to be able to access them on my apple TV pretty much. Is there any way to do that?

Cheers,

Zac
