Q: My iPod shuffle (one of the recent 4th gen ones) battery life is really short suddenly
So I have had my iPod Shuffle since mid August 2015 and, for some reason, the battery life barely makes it past about 1 hour. It was never like this beforehand in January, but it seemed to of run out of battery a little bit more quicker than usual (probably 5 hours or so) and in February it dropped to about 2 hours. It went away for a while when I used it less but recently after I fully charged it and started doing something random (probably pacing about things) it barely lasted an hour. What can I do to solve this?

As a test, if you have a USB power adapter like the one that comes with iPhone/iPad (or other device), use it to charge your iPod for a few hours. See if that makes a difference in how long the battery lasts.
You can also let it play continuously until it shuts off due to no battery power. You can just leave it playing unattended, until it stops playing by itself. Then, connect it to power to recharge completely. See if that makes a difference in how long the battery lasts.
If battery life per charge remains short, your iPod is under warranty. If there is an Apple Store nearby, make a reservation at the store's Genius Bar and take it there. You can make a reservation from the store's web page
