OS X 10.11.3 and Safari 9.0.3
no images on any webpages.. ? from tiny logos to photos/NYTimes videos.
I have tried a few things a computer illiterate could try
Restart.

Q: no images on any webpages
Safari > Preferences > Advanced
Enable "Show developed menu in the menu bar" at the bottom.
Click "Develop" in the Safari menu bar.
If you see a checkmark beside "Disable Images", click on it to deselect it.
Safari - Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing
Safari/other browsers – Website not loading
