DVB-T usb stick not working after migration

Hi,

I used Ubuntu for a decade and now i migrated to Macbook Pro. I am trying El Capitan and it seems ok, but I have DVB-T USB stick 04ca:f001 rebranded as Intuix Tv Tuner Tnt S800 (source: http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-T_USB_Device)

The problem with El Capitan is, that when I plug in the tuner, the diode won't light up, but is inactive. Is there any way to get this TV tuner start working? (on linux is it only take to donwload the firmware, install TV SW and scan the channels)

My laptop is MBP 13, Retina, 2015 with lates update of El Capitan.

I would really appreciate any solution to this.

If you need further info, please let me know.

Thanks

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)
