Q: excel sheet can't be changed op OSX machines
We received an Excel sheet for keeping track of working hours. This Excel sheet is working fine on every Microsoft device with Office 2010 - 2016.
When we try to use the same Excel sheet on a Mac the Excel sheet can't be filled in. Excel keeps saying that it is secured by a password?? We tested it witj Office 2011 for the Mac and Office 365 2016 for the Mac. The file itself is read/writetable.
We asked the orginal sender if the Excel sheet was password protected but he said that was not the case.
Any ideas what could be the problem?
- test if we can open the excel sheet on different Windows platforms (Win 7, 8 , 10) that works ok
