Q: How to get music stored in iTunes out to rooms with wireless speakers?
All my CDs have been uploaded to ITunes on Windows 10. Does iTunes or Windows 10 offer a way to play from my library using wireless speakers on my Wifi network? Thanks. M Dann

There are several ways to achieve this, in no particular order…
- Buy (multiple) AirPort Express devices which support acting as an AirPlay receiver, plug a 3.5mm mini jack cable from (each) AirPort Express to a speaker system, iTunes can then play to each or multiple AirPlay destinations, also see below
- Buy (multiple) Wireless speakers that support Apple's 'AirPlay' standard e.g. the A5 & A7 see here http://www.bowers-wilkins.co.uk/Wireless-Speakers/Wireless-Speakers/Products
- Buy (multiple) Sonos Play speaker devices and have them access your iTunes library - http://www.sonos.com/en-gb/products/wireless-speakers
- Buy AppleTV3 or AppleTV4 devices, these can also act as AirPlay receivers and would then output via the TV they are plugged in to
- Again buy AppleTV3 or AppleTV4 devices, in addition to AirPlay they can also directly access a shared iTunes library via 'iTunes Home Sharing', with AirPlay you control choices via iTunes on the computer, with iTunes Home Sharing you can browse, select and place tracks via the AppleTV remote
Note: Some AV Receivers also support AirPlay
Note: There is also DNLA (also known as UPnP) which iTunes itself does not support but you could in theory install a DNLA server app. However not all DNLA apps support AAC and/or Apple Lossless and personally I find DNLA to be very poor quality software no matter which package you use. AirPlay and Sonos' own proprietary system are far, far better.
