Q: Clean up removes Safari links from dock

New to Apple. I have created Safari links in the dock for easy access e.g, The Guardian. When I run a clean up utility such as Dr Cleaner it wipes the link and I get a question mark on the icon. Can I stop this behaviour or create my links another way?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

Yes. Uninstall Dr Cleaner.

Do not use junk software like Dr Cleaner.

Thanks both for the advice. As a recent convert from Windows, which I found requires frequent cleaning, I assumed the same for Apple. Dr Cleaner has some decent reviews on the App Store so I chose it. Is there any other software you recommend or can I just ignore this as a non-issue on MacBooks?

"Cleaning" programs are unnecessary with OSX.
