I have a Macbook Pro with non removable battery, I followed this procedure:
Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support
Shift-Control-Option on the left side of the keyboard, then press the power button at the same time.
No way to let it work, and no changes from Magsafe LED.
Thank you

Mar 6, 2016 9:56 PM in response to mercu80by To_Mi,If you did not get issue unresolved, then the cause may be other than SMC related.
In the case, I have no sure idea what cause it.
If it's on mine, I'll try
- PRAM/NVRAM reset
- disk repair / repair permission with disk utility in safe boot.
- overwrite install of OS X with booting in repair mode.
- hardware diagnose or hardware test.
you may already did them, but I have no other idea.

Mar 7, 2016 12:12 PM in response to To_Miby mercu80,Thank you again.. I did he first 2 setps.. the problems are.. I cannot know it the SMC reset happened since I have no feedback from magsafe led... The PRAM reset is not an issue..I did it with 2 starting sounds as suggesed by Apple.
About:
- disk repair / repair permission with disk utility in safe boot.
I did it first with Disk Utility on my internal HD, THEN from DVD installer since Disk was damaged.
- overwrite install of OS X with booting in repair mod, you mean a new installation of the OS?
- also..how do I make a hardware diagnose or hardware test...other than with Onyx?
Thank you so much.

I mean over-write install is installing the same version of OS X on to the current boot volume without erasing its contents. This will/may fix the broken system files but can keep installed applications and your data unmodified.
Enter recovery mode by hold command+R on boot.

For hardware test, press the D key on boot.
