From your post, it sounds like your iPhone is having trouble connecting to cellular data after replacing the SIM card. If this is the case, I suggest reading over and working through the suggested steps in the following article, specifically step 4. If you noticed this behavior after inserting a SIM card, the card may not be seated properly which would explain the connectivity issues.
