I'm fairly new to the command line and was wondering if there was a way to log into my wifi router via the command line? Its not an Airport Device, but a device Comcast gave us when we signed up with them.

We provide support for the Apple routers on this forum.
Please check with Comcast Support to find out if the modem/router that they provided to you is capable of command line access....and if so, how it might be implemented.

Basically, no. Most, if not all, non-Apple routers use a web-based administrator interface. You would require a web-browser to access them.
In the case of Cisco routers, a number of them support a command-line interface via a setup command facility. This is not the same as a Windows Command Prompt window. To give you an idea as to what I am referring to check out this link.
