USB-C cable with charging indicator

Hi, being used to the charge cables of earlier notebook models I am missing the LED indicator for the charging process at the plug of the usb-c cable for the new MacBook. To keep the battery in good conditions for as long as possible I want to be able to discontinue the charging process as soon as the battery is fully loaded. With the cable provide by Apple it is easy to forget.

Hence, is there o possibility to get a cable, indicating an ongoing or finished charging process?

MacBook, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

I'd say that for similar reasons, I do like to know when my new MacBook Pro is done charging and aside from really missing the MagSafe, I also miss the indicator to let me know that my Pro is done charging or not before I open it up. Moshi appear to make one that has the indicator lights in it, but it is $35. I'm a little bit surprised that Apple didn't consider this when they launched the new Pro, I haven't tried this cable myself, as I was looking for a 1m cable, however, if I can't find one that is 1m with a charge indicator light, I'm going to try this cable myself.

I am also missing the indicator light. Out in the filed I wanna know when the device is ready to go. It is a no brainer to add an additional blanc area that can charge the macbookpro like the Apple Watch, got a light, magnetic and is USB c/TB.

The new MacBook was designed w/ hipsters in mind and killed some of the useful features saving me a lot of time in the field.

Gonna **** the warranty of my MBP17 and rebuild the charging ports/mechanism. Monkeys....

That assertion is debatable.

Tip: If you open the lid, unplug and replug the USB-C cord, you will see a momentary graphic of the battery's charge level.
