Q: I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW KEYBOARD AND THE TOP ROW OF KEYS ARE BROKEN! VOLUME/PLAY/PAUSE -- MAVERICKS OSX 10.9.5

I just bought a brand new "Magic Keyboard" and the top row of keys DO NOT WORK. I outraged and absolutely not upgrading to OSX Yosemite or El Capitan. This is a piece of hardware that is not working as expected.

]How can I fix this?

Stop SHOUTING. Apple is not here, only volunteers trying to help people get unraged.

The magic keyboard requires OS X El Capitan 10.11 or later. That is printed on the box, and stated in the online Apple Store, just as it is for the Magic Mouse II. If you are still using OS X Maverick, and remain adamant about not upgrading to El Capitan, then just take the keyboard back for a refund.

Maybe you should have read the system requirements before you spent your money...
