Q: Bootcamp requiring 50gb to partition?

Hello there,

I have a Macbook Air and I want to run Windows 10 on my mac via Bootcamp. I have a (1tb) external flash drive that I use to back up my mac. Screen Shot 2016-03-06 at 4.46.37 PM.png

This keeps popping up whenever I press Continue.

How do I free up this space? I have gone to About This Mac->Storage and it shows that I have 17gb free...how do I get rid of this stuff? 18gb is in the bar called Other. Any ideas how I'm supposed to get rid of this? I have a Grand Perspective application that I use to see what is taking up how much space. I have no pictures on my mac; they are all on my external flash drive.

I have done this before. I have run Windows 10 on my mac before, but I undid the partition. Afterwards, I had all this space is taken up and I don't know why. Help?

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), null
