Linear PCM, Animation codec MOV files are reading as black in QuickTime 7 Pro under Mac OS 10.11

Hi, I also found a discussion about this phenomena in the Final Cut, but I have it in QuickTime 7 Pro after upgrading to Mac OS 10.11.

I start to feel with every update things becoming worse.

So what happened to QuickTime with the update to 10.11? Before under 10.10 everything worked fine, now I see black.

Hope somebody could help.

All things working properly, QT 7 should continue to display Animation/LPCM MOV files correctly under El Capitan as seen in the sample screen capture of such a file playing on my system: http://downloads.walker4.me/Temporary_files/AnimationLPCMScreenCap.mp4

Active use (encoding) of the Animation codec was turned off under Lion and remains off unless a user turns it back on. On the other hand, passive use (decoding) of the codec still remains in effect unless removed or conflicted.
