Trouble Playing Audio Files

I downloaded Itunes 7.0.2 and I am having a hard time playing some of my imported music..even some of the itunes store bought music. I have tried to re-install the new version and I am having the same problem. I checked the music folders and the songs have not been deleted. I don't get it.

doublechecking a couple of things.

are there some files that are playing for you?

with the files that don't play, is the little diamond-shaped thingy moving to the right? or does it stay stuck to the left when you try to play the songs?
