loud speakers and ipod nano
There used to be loud speakers on ipods. I can not find it on the latest ipod nano. Has it disappeared ?

"Loud speakers"? It wasn't very loud, but if you're remembering the 5th gen iPod nano having a built-in audio playback speaker, it is the exception, not the norm. The current 7th gen iPod does not.
The 5th gen iPod nano has a built-in tiny speaker. As far as I know, it's the only iPod (that is not iPod touch) with a built-in speaker. It has this distinction, because it also has a video camera, and I guess a speaker is needed to playback a video just recorded (without headphones). No other iPod (that is not iPod touch) has a video camera either.
