Is there another cable used in conjunction w/this?
Just a standard HDMI cable to go from the HDMI port on the adapter to your TV's HDMI port.
Ok therefore I should plug the adapter in the lightening port?
Thank you. I thought I saw a cable through Apple for $19 I could use going from the port to HDMI? I don't have an HDMI cable and would have to purchase one.
Pretty much any HDMI cable would work, the $19 Apple HDMi cable here which is likely what you saw, should work fine:
No I get that. Is there a cable that exists going direct from lightening port to HDMI?
Again, on a Mac its Thunderbolt not Lightning.
I can't find a direct cable on Apple's Online store, but Amazon does have some options such as:
http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B004CA JU8W
If you are looking for something to use with an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, then it is Lightning, and no, I have been unable to find a direct cable, you would need to go through the Digital Av adapter first.
Thanks. I found one half of that price on eBay. Appreciate your time and assistance.
