Q: Brand new ipod classic is effed.

My original 80gb ipod classic was about 8 years old. When itunes decided that it would not recognize my ipod any longer, I followed itunes advice and restored my ipod to it's factory settings. I kept getting "this ipod is corrupt" or "you must restore this ipod" and "error code 1439" over and over again. I made every effort possible to save it. I've read every post from Apple related to these issues and followed their instructions for a remedy, but was granted no such luck. I researched every possible solution from every other site and attempted all. Enable disk drive, remove file from notepad, disable firewall, manual resets ETC,  nothing worked. I thought maybe it was just time to buy a new one. Little did I know that finding a new ipod Classic was to prove almost impossible. After a few weeks of searching, I located a company that had a few brand new ones left in stock. I bought it, brought it home, registered it and I was back up and running great until a few days ago. Same exact thing happened. Itunes said that they detected an ipod that is corrupt and needs to be retored. I ejected the ipod in hopes to keep the already stored music available. I made a few more attempts to plug it back in and sync it, but it repeated these error codes. I tried my back up computer and got the same error. Against my better judgment I decided to restore the ipod and try from scratch. Nope. Same exact problem as my last ipod. Error code 1439. Here I go again. I repeated every trouble step I attempted with my old ipod, plus maybe a hundred more. Nothing. I have two smaller Ipod touch's that work without any problems whatsoever on the same computer, so I have come to the solution that Apple doesn't want me to use the Classic any longer and is doing everything in their power to screw me. LOL.

So frustrated. If anyone has a rare solution that might not already be posted, I am eager to try!

Thanks!!!
