Q: Wi-fi error message, Network unavailable

Sorry Eric, could you specify which menu? There's a character there in your post that doesn't seem to be displaying correctly in my browser.

Ok, I assume you mean System Information on the Apple menu. Unfortunately, when I click on this, the application freezes and I get a 'not responding' message in Activity Monitor. When I ctrl-click and Open it in Applications>Utilities, a window opens, with location trail Barolo>MyComputer>Hardware at the bottom, but nothing is displayed in it.

Also, i note that there's a CoreLocationAgent not responding message in Activity Monitor - is this related to the wifi/Network problem?

Can't start in Safe mode - gets to end of progress bar then hangs - have let it stay like this for over an hour, and nothing.

Have tried another Admin account - same result, sys info blank.
