How to import already imported photos in iphoto?

How can I import photos that, according to my computer, has already been imported? How can I find the pictures and how can I import them again? They are not in the latest imported but they don´t come up when I plug in my iphone.

Photos should only show those images that have not been imported into the library previously. To see all photos from your iPhone that have been imported previously create a smart album in your Photos library with the following criteria:

Select the model of iPhone that you have and those photos will populate the smart album.

Another way to see all of the images on your phone is to launch Image Capture and then connect the iPhone to your Mac. It will show all of the images on your phone.
