Q: old version not removed when reinstalling icloud

I removed the icloud program for windows 10 and it would not reinstall because it could not remove the old installation. the old installation is removed

You have to follow a series of steps to remove iCloud from a PC

Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later - Apple Support
