Mar 8, 2016 12:36 AM in response to happyjoy7by 0ffline,HAve you tried doing a soft reset yet? You can do this by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button simultaneously until it restarts with the Apple logo showing on the screen
IF that doesn't work, you can try this at the link below!

Mar 8, 2016 3:02 AM in response to happyjoy7by lllaass,To reset the iPod without the hardware buttons,
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. All your wifi and bluetooth preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected. You will have to rejoin wifi networks and re-pair BT devices

Mar 8, 2016 8:41 PM in response to lllaassby happyjoy7,I was not able to do it as my screen complete froze! I did not know how it happened it just happened suddenly. My notification bar is stuck and Siri couldn't help me to turn off the device.
Thankfully, I thought that maybe by updating iOS via itunes my ipod might restart. I had trouble at first as I was asked to enter my password on the device. But I tried pressing the calendar/events thingy and it asked me to type my password so I'm all set! I'm so relieved now that I can use my ipod again
Thanks everyone for helping

Jul 23, 2016 11:52 AM in response to allierxxby lllaass,Can you restore via iTunes?
Can you erase the iPod via FindMyiPhone?
If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone,
sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone
https://support.apple.com/kb/PH2696?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US
and use Remote Wipe
https://support.apple.com/kb/PH2701?locale=en_US
to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up,
https://support.apple.com/kb/PH12519?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US
you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.
