Are Apple watches intrinsically safe?

Hi - I work with LPG gas cylinders. Hand phones are not allowed at work as they are a potential ignition source. Can anyone advise if we should stop wearing our Smart watches too? If not, could anyone reply with an email address for Apple Tech Support? ( I could only see phone numbers on the Tech support web page). Thanks.

Hi

Important safety information within the Apple Watch User Guide includes:

"Explosive atmospheres

Charging or using Apple Watch in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere, such as in areas where the air contains high levels of flammable chemicals, vapors, or particles (such as grain, dust, or metal powders), may be hazardous. Obey all signs and instructions".
