Dropped my Mac book air 2015

I dropped my Mac air which was in my bag and in a case. It fell about half a meter maybe more. It seems to work fine and there's no apparent scratches or physical harm. Is there anything I should do to ensure its safety ? Would there be any internal damage?

Kind regards

There really aren't any moving parts in the MacBook Airs unlike a lot of other laptops. If it had an HDD you would need to be concerned about that but since all Airs have SSD's (Flash Memory) it's a non issue. I would take a look at the hinges and make sure that they aren't damaged or cracked in any way. After losing at the hinges take a look at the lid and make sure that it still aligns perfectly with the bottom half (this can be a symptom of damages hinges). As long as everything looks OK I'd say that your laptop is in good shape and there isn't any need for concern. Definitely keep an eye on it and if you come across any issues, make an appointment with the Apple Store so they can do a free evaluation for you. Unfortunately it can take a while for issues to crop up after damage occurs.
