Q: Trouble sharing my Motion animation my Mac and iPad

Hi,

I have my Motion created little animation of titles all prepared and am now trying to play it on my Mac (and iPad).  I went to Share where I took the first option to accomplish this.  Everything seems okay until I actually

play the movie.  The problem is that the movie plays with the wrong Y value (on the X and Y axis of the screen).

In other words whereas on my Motion canvas, everything shows exactly as I want it, on the resulting movie it is blacked out for 30% of the bottom of the screen and my animation shows on top of that, except for the 30% that obviously could not fit.

It's like some Y parameter did not transfer during the creation of the movie.

I tried adjusting the Y value on the various layers using the Inspector to try to cure this, and it did, but then it's very difficult to work with the canvas this way.

Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong here ?  Thank you in advance for your help.

Be sure you upgrade to OS X 10.11.3, and have the latest version of Motion.

Next, launch Motion while holding both the Option and Control keys at the same time.  This gives the opportunity to delete the app's preferences, try that.

It has nothing to do with your project's content or settings.  This is a glitch in the app.  Don't change your project at all.  Try the above and see if that helps.

What is the project frame size and aspect ratio of this project?

By resizing my canvas to 50% I was able to see where my background did not cover the screen displays and the titles did not appear where I expected them to.  So this is resolved at this point.  Thank you for helping me.
