Apple car play

Hello, in September 2015 I upgraded my car's audio system with an Alpine ILX700 device fully integrated with Apple CarPlay. In my iPhone 6 just two years before I installed TomTom Europe full app. Sadly I verified that TomTom app is not integrated with Car Play, apparently due to some restrictions imposed by Apple...

Personally I find that Tom Tom's app is more precise, and less distracting, compared to Apple maps, especially because it doesn't need to download the maps every time. Alpine device is a good system too for all other Iphone's apps and functions to be used in the car without distracting by the road. But finally I spent 99 euros for Tom Tom and 600 euros for Alpine device and they don't dialog between themselves! Why Apple impose restrictions to Tom Tom with car play and continue to sell the same app for iPhone?

Please tell me that a solution will came soon with a simple firmware update to solve this ugly mess!
