Q: how can I buy local apps when on holidays overseas?

I am currently in visiting my parents. I am trying to download vodafone India app  but every time I am forwarded to app store, it asks me to change store since my original store is from New Zealand.

Nothing happens when I tap change store option.

So I tried doing it on my macbook. changed country in that but then I had to change the billing address, credit card number, such a drama.

please tell me if there is any easier way than applying a new credit here overseas..

You can't just willy nilly change stores all over the world to get apps that you want. Even because you are on vacation.

To use a store you must be a legal resident of the country for which that store was created. Then you must provide a credit card issued by a bank in that country with a verifiable billing address in that country.

The other issue is that when you change stores you wipe out your previous Purchases List for the previous store. That complicates your home life when you get home and want to change the store back to your original store.

You cannot change your app store unless you have a physical address in the country you are changing to as well as a bank card issued by a bank in that country.
