Is the 15" Macbook still using asymmetrical blades?

I just bought a mid 2015 MacBook Pro 15.4 with a 2.5Ghz i7 with 512GB and the AMD Radeon R9 M370. I do a lot of repairs on older apple laptops/desktops and non retina ones that are easierly upgradeable. Ive only worked on 1, 15 inch Macbook. I know the blades are asymmetrically placed on older models but are they still asymmetrically laced on the mid 2015 ones? (Apple only makes the mid 2015 their is no late 2015 or early 2016 currently as of 3-8-2016) the fans seemed loud in wind noise when i was exporting videos which is better than my old laptop which made a whining noise. So i opened the computer and it looks like they redesigned the fans. the last one I worked on was a mid 2013 which had fans like this.

I was told that these were asymmetrically placed and said so by apple. I never listened to the fans on the one I worked on but is the new one still using asymmetrical blades and whats the difference? Also the left fans spin at 6150 compared to the right at 5700 because of the GPU being on the left side of the heatsink?. if anyone has both could you tell me which is louder?

I Wouldn't advise for anyone who is new to open their MacBook but opening it won't void the warrenty. Where I live there's a lot of dust and I clean 13" MacBooks and iMacs that have apple care and apple still honors the warranty. Tampering with the hardware voids the warranty. Apple has it set up so you can clean the fans and that stuff easy without voiding the warranty. Removing the SSD or heatsink/ fans voids warranty. I work at an apple service center so I know what voids it.

Then why are you here? You have access to more hardware information than we do. I don't know about your facility but the Apple retailers here will not work on an iMac where the user has opened it up even for cleaning the fans. If you are a service center employee, then opening up a case doesn't void the user's warranty, obviously. You have privileges we do not have. But, you did say this was your computer, that it was new, so you could hardly claim you are cleaning the fans. Just a thought. 😉

True, We have very few 15 inch MacBooks that come through so we don't many have parts for them in stalk currently. We only have the older fans. None of my other technicians know either. I could make a phone call and figure it out really quick now that you mentioned that. I'm not in a high department in the store and were not 100% Apple to we do all services on all types of computers and are licensed by apple for their hardware service. But your right i can ask my boss to ask the supplier. Thanks!
