WE have 2 macbookpros 10.10.5--we recently switched to gmail. Now when one of us deletes an email on one computer ---it is deleted on both computers. How do we stop this so both computers operate independent of the other?

we have 2 macbookpros 10.10.5----we recently changed to gmail. now when my wife deletes an email on her mac....that email is also deleted on my mac---and if I delete an email on the same account ----that email is deleted on her computer---we do not want this to happen---we want the actions on one computer to be independent from the actions on another computer.

How do we stop this?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
