What Is Apple Tv photo data base

In finders when I click pictures i get photos and just recently a file (Apple Tv photo data base) I did not knowingly instal this .What is it and do I need it

or should I delete it?

Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Do you mean "apple tv photo cache"? If so, this will explain it - About the iPod Photo Cache folder - Apple Support
