Continuity and iMessage Sync not working on iPhone...!

I've always being using iMessage and Continuity to receive/do phone calls on all my iOS devices and Mac (all updated to the latest iOS/OSX).

Recently I noticed that although iMessage is working on all devices, iMessages are not synched anymore on my iPhone. I.E., whatever iMessage I write on my iPhone stays only on my iPhone and do not appear on my Mac and on my iPad, while what I write on my Mac or iPad, it synched between the two devices except my iPhone.

Phone Calls cannot be forwarded to my iPhone from my iPad or Mac anymore.

All settings look ok.

Any help please?

Hello Jet787,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that messages you make on your iPhone are not creating on your Mac, and messages from your Mac and iPad are not appearing on your iPhone. I'd like you to first ensure that your phone number is configured on all of your devices and ensure it is the method you are using to send/receive your iMessages.

Add or remove your phone number to iMessage or FaceTime on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch

Take care.

Thank you Alex.

Actually my phone n was already configured on all my iOS devices and Mac.

By shutting down my iPhone and on again, everything is working back; i.e. all new iMessages are synced everywhere and Continuity (calls) is working again.

However, all iMessages that during the issue were not synced are stayed not synced... this is not a big deal but I am still wondering why this happened and if it is normal that the iMessage gap is not filled now that everything is working...

Tnxs a lot.
