I do not think it is renewable on anything, once only.

Applecare is a one time purchase within 30 days of purchasing a new device and cannot be renewed.

AppleCare Plus (which may or may not be available where the OP lives) can be purchased within the first 60 days.

Thanks for the correction. I was told in the Apple store I had 30 days to purchase Applecare+. This was about four years ago when I purchased my iPhone 5.

And, Applecare Protection Plan for computers can be purchased and registered within 364 days of date of purchase of the computer.

and the Applecare Protection Plan for computers does not provide accidental damage coverage of any sort. Strictly an extension of the phone support and warranty.

True, although somewhat better than the regular warranty as it includes in home service for desktop computers (as long as you are within 50 miles of an AASP). I've taken advantage of that a couple of times for various 27" iMacs:  2 logic board replacements, 1 hard drive, 2 Superdrives. Beats lugging that to a store.

No.

None of the AppleCare agreements can be extended.
