Help pls!Illustrator kept crashing when trying to save work!(Intel Mac Pro)
Hi all.
Just brought a Mac Pro about 3 weeks ago, after my titanium decided to retire. Anyway, while working on my project on illustrator last night, it decided to crash on me, when i try to save the changes that I have made. When I try to restart the programme, even tried to restart the system. it still kept crashing, even with very slight amendment, such as moving an object alittle left. In total, it must have crashed on me for about more than 20 times!
Earlier, I have updated my OS to 10.4.8. I guess after a day or two, this thing happened. I am really not sure if it is due to the update of OS. But I went ahead to try suggests I found here, such as closing my "appearance" palatte; I also try to update the cs 2 package (which took me about 2 hours!) and last resort, I try to reinstall my OS back to 10.4.7.
still cs 2 illustrator quits everything I tried to save the changes.
I really desperate, and after blowing so much on mac pro intel, I am very disappointed that not only CS 2 is not working up to it speed, it refuse to work at all. I have called apple, and oh yes, those guys there just tell me that it is an adobe's problem. ****.
anyone. please help. It would be great if you have the same problem and found solution. By the way, the file I was working on, contained some eps files, tiff and psd file that I have placed in the project - relatively large file (200+mb) - but that should not be the problem, yah?
