Q: Mail with attachments staying in outbox

I have a garageband file I am trying to send using mail drop, I have tried to email the full file and then a compressed version. Both still show in my outbox, it has been about 20 minutes since I tried to send, not sure if I am doing something wrong? I made sure the use mail drop box was checked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
