changing font of an emailed text

my daughter sent me some text messages that she wanted me to print for her. some of them are pretty lengthy so i would like to make the font smaller so i can get more on one page. i have tried changing the font in the email itself but that doesn't work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
