Q: My iMessages will not work

Literally nothing I have done will help. I have signed out and back into iCloud using my apple ID on my phone and computer. I have even created a new apple ID. I just got my computer repaired, and I'm wondering if it has something to do with that.

Here is the message from console:

    Hi,

If this is still using Mavericks (where the post is)  then go to the Apple icon Menu top left of the Screen and choose "About this Mac"

Nearer the top is the line that tells you the OS X version.

This is actually click-able and will change to the Build Number on the first click.

Clicking again reveals the Serial Number.

Is the Serial Number there ?

It is supposed to be added back to any Logic/Mother board replacement.

If it is missing it will be the repair business or the Appel Store that can put it back on.
