Q: Prefer SD Video, Not Working

Does this option still work for purchased copies of movies through iTunes?

I have selected prefer sd version in summary of iPad, but a purchased movie from iTunes is still transferring to device as HD (and thus consuming ~4Gb of space)

It always amazes me that content purchased through iTunes is always the hardest to actually work with and get what you want out of.

WHY IS ALWAYS SO ANNOYING!!!!

This link is to an older support article. iTunes: Sync purchased HD videos to iPod or iOS device - Apple Support I have no i-anything nor an iTunes Store account so I don't know the details of how it works but if you want to sync SD you probably have to have SD on your computer.
