New tabs taking forever to load on my macbook pro retina mid 2015

This January I replaced my macbook pro retina display 15 inch from mid 2012 with a new macbook pro retina display 15 inch, mid 2015. In order to keep all my files and preferences, I used migration assistant and most of the time my macbook works fine. But it's starting to get really annoying that quite regularly, when I'm trying to open a new tab, on safari, it takes around 3 to 5 seconds to load. I don't know what is causing this, or if it's normal. Is there any solution or has this happened to anyone else?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Go step by step and test.

1. Empty Caches

Safari > Preference > Advanced

Checkmark the box beside "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

2. Delete Cookies

Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:

Click the “Details” button.

Remove all cookies except ones from Apple, your internet service provider and banks.

3. Disable Extensions and test.

Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Uncheck boxes beside “Enable Extension” and test.

Enable Extensions one by one and test.

To uninstall any extension, select it and click the “Uninstall” button.
