My iphone 6 plus randomly types and open apps, plays music and randomly calls like it's possessed. Resetting the phone did not help solve the problem. Did anybody experience this and resolved the issue? Please help.

I have not experienced my iPhone randomly doing things on its own but wonder what is happening with yours. I understand that just letting it set there it randomly acts like you are touching it, opening apps and typing and such.
I'm not sure by resetting if you mean restarted, or hard reset but please check out this article.
If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch - Apple Support
You may also want to try a backup and restore to insure it's not a software issue.
