Q: Siri will not call or text anyone on Iphone 6s after resetting all settings on iphone.

I have reset all the settings on my iphone and restored it. After I change any one setting, Siri will not work. It works right after I turn it on, but when I toggle keyboard clicks off for instance (which is what I have been doing), it stops working. Is there anything else I can do to fix my iphone, I have tried all the suggestions I have found to fix it! I really need this feature! Thanks!

    Hello there, littlemints627.

It sounds like you're having issues with Siri not responding to you after making changes in Settings. The following Knowledge Base article has a few recommendations to review in addition to what you've already performed:

Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Get help with Siri

    • If "Hey Siri" isn't working, make sure that "Hey Siri" is turned on under Settings > General > Siri.
    • Siri might say, "Sorry, I'm having trouble connecting to the network," or "Try again in a little while." This is probably a network issue. Check your Internet connection and try again later.
    • If Siri isn't available or responding to questions, see the next section.

If Siri isn't available, or doesn't understand or respond to questions

After each step, see if you still need help:

    1. Make sure that your iOS device has an Internet connection through Wi-Fi or cellular data.
    2. On your iOS device, make sure that Siri is turned on under Settings > General > Siri.
    3. Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
    4. On your iOS device, go to Settings > General > Siri and turn off Siri. Then turn it on again.
    5. Make sure that the microphones on your device aren't blocked. For example, if your device has a protective case, remove it.
    6. If you're using an iOS device, try to use Siri with a headset. If Siri works, get more help with the microphones on your device.
    7. Contact Apple Support.

If Siri doesn't make a sound when you hold down the Home button

On your iPad or iPod touch, Siri will chime when it's time to ask a question. If you have an iPhone with iOS 9 or later, Siri will vibrate instead. You'll only hear the chime on your iPhone with iOS 9 or later when you're using headphones.

Siri will also chime when you use "Hey Siri" on a device with iOS 9.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

    Kind Regards.

There’s a few threads on this same subject.  I have found a fix for this issue which worked for me, and I’d be keen to see if it works for other readers of this site.  Please see fix at https://discussions.apple.com/message/29907793#29907793.
