Do not receive calendar invites

My wife cannot send me calendar invites from her iPhone 5S. I have the iPhone 6. She receives my invites but I get none of hers. Already tried going to iCloud website and changing the invitation setting as I've seen discussed on other forums. Did not work. Please help.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.2.1

I have this question too. The 'invitees' button is missing completely on Iphone5s. It's easy to send once it's there the problem is the option to add an invitee is missing all together.
