Acer K272HUL and new Mac Pro

Hello all,

I'm considering getting a new Mac Pro and I have three Acer K272HUL 27-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) displays that I would want to connect to it. This display has

2 x HDMI, 1 x DVI (W/HDCP), 1 x Display Port (in), 1 x Display Port (out) for inputs. Can anyone tell me if I would be able to connect all three of these to the new Mac Pro and if so what would be the best way to connect them and what cables or adapters I would need. It seems the first would be simple HDMI to HDMI but for the other two I don't know what would be best. I don't know if there is a thunder bolt to display port cable and I think you used to be able to daisy chain two displays on display port but don't know if that is an option here. Any help on the best scenario and cables needed would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the 2013 Mac pro can support three of those monitors.

Best is to get three mini displayport>display port cables. About $10 each

You can connect one via the HDMI port on the Mac but mini displayport/displayport is better.

To use the DVI input you need a $99 mini displayport>DVI adopter.

Make sure you connect each monitor to a separate Thunderbolt bus.
