Back up wechat's data and then restore the data

I use wechat for business. Now my wechat will not open in my iPhone 5s, iOS 9. I want to be able to pull the wechat data off the phone (without opening the app, bcs I cannot) then delete the wechat app, then reinstall the app and then import the data. Or some other way to preserve the data in the reinstall app would also work. Thank you in advance!

Since wechat is not an Apple product, you would need to check with the app developer and their support on how to access the data. Normally, app data is in your backup, however it is not always handled that way by all app developers. It could be the data only resides in the app itself, and deleting the app would delete the data. If the app does not have its own backup system in its settings, and the app does not backup data with the iPhone backup, then you are going to have to see what the developer says about how to recover the data.
