Cant recieve SMS from my bank

If this SMS that your bank is sending you is a computer generated SMS, they have to ensure they have your correct carrier information to ensure they address the SMS correctly. A computer does not just use a phone number like a phone does, it has to have the complete address to the carrier's SMS server. I suggest you check with the bank to ensure they have all of the information correct for your carrier and number, and then research the rest with the carrier. They should be able to tell if they are receiving the SMS from the bank. If not, there is the disconnect.

Did you contact your bank? It's entirely possible that they have the number in their system incorrectly.

As ManSinha said, SMS is strictly a carrier function. The problem is either with the sender, their carrier, or your carrier. This is not a problem with the phone... unless you've accidentally added your banks # to the blocked callers list...

Check Settings>Phone>Blocked.

Make sure you didn't add them to your blocked list by accident.

Despite your carrier telling you otherwise - SMS is a carrier function and the phone merely renders it.

If you would like - you can try an experiment where you put your SIM card in another phone if possible and see if you can get the text message

Your bank would have to verify if using their app would affect your receipt of SMS. Either way, the iPhone has no settings when it comes to SMS. If this is a standard SMS, and not an SMS, you do not need any data setting turned on, and as indicated earlier SMS is a carrier function. They need to research the problem for you. You cannot turn SMS on or off at the iPhone.

Something changed. You said it won't even work with your old phone. You need to find out what changed, since it does not appear to be the device, since it won't work on another device.

And since you do not indicate what you confirmed and with who you confirmed. The problem does not seem to be the phone if it will not work with either device.

I have the exact same problem; iphone as phone, turkcell as operator and garanti as bank. I was wondering if the problem has been solved.
