Mar 11, 2016 11:32 AM in response to GDP69by Kenichi Watanabe,When you connect it, what does the iPod's screen show or say? Does it say Do not disconnect or Connected (or give other indication of a connection)? Or does it only show the battery charging symbol?

Putting iPod into Disk Mode - Apple Support
Shut down (power off) the MacBook and disconnect all USB devices. Connect MacBook to its power adapter, if it's not. Start up MacBook. Then, run iTunes and connect iPod (in Disk Mode) to a direct USB port on MacBook, by itself. Is the iPod recognized in any way by the MacBook?
