Calendar on my Mac Air responds with "server responded with an error".
Calendar syncs correctly and does not effect other calendars (iMac, iPhone, family calendars).

Resolved by disconnecting calendars from iCloud in "System Preferences" accounts; rebooting; opening calendar and then reconnecting accounts.
