    Force restart your Apple Watch >  Restart your Apple Watch

    Then double tap the side button.

    Hi

    It may help to close the Watch app on your iPhone (if it is presently open) and then to restart both your iPhone and your watch:

    • To close the Watch app on your iPhone, double-click the Home button, then swipe up on the app preview;
    • Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:
      • To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off;
      • To turn it on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

    Force restarting your watch should typically only be done as a last resort and if it is unresponsive.
