Q: Why Is Music Memos Share Button Missing?

Greetings,

I have a short, but very special file made on Music Memos. I don't want to lose it. I have no share button! Any assistance to resolve this problem so I am able to share files without losing this important recording would be appreciated.

    Which view are you in? The Share button will be visible, when you are viewing the library with your Music Memos, not while the memo is open Music Memos in edit mode.

     

    Open the Library, then tap the idea, and then the Share button.

    Thanks for your reply. I had been to the library where the tag, guitar, drum set and trash icons appeared. However, I just inadvertently selected the length of the recording on the library screen, and icon for share, etc. appeared. It seems to be a three-step process: 1. go to library screen (via the in box icon); 2.select the desired file; then, 3. select the length of the recording to reveal share and other options.

    That is weird, that this is necessary for you.

    For me it suffices to select the memo in the library view.

    But great, that you found a way to make the Share button appear.

    Leonie, Thanks and I totally agree with the weirdness of this process, but happy it worked. I'll call support and tell them about the apparent glitch. S.
